Ancestor Hunt allows people to search for their ancestors, with just their first and last names. Alternatively, you can enter in just your family name and pull up a list from the database with everyone on record who has your last name. Some of the records are free and some you may have to pay for in order to gain access. You will be able to search through a variety of records, including marriage records, birth records, and death records.

Family Search gives you the opportunity to find your family. You can discover who is in your family tree and then find records that will help you discover where they lived and the major events in their lives, among other things. You can search using their name, life event, year or year range, country, and state. You can find various online records, including birth records, marriage records, death records, census records, and church records.
